BlockBeats news, on June 21, Slow Fog CISO @im23pds tweeted a reminder to be wary of scams disguised as official Cold Wallet encryption lottery activities. Criminals impersonate official accounts on the X platform, claiming to give away free Ledger and other Cold Wallets, and actually send out "brand new sealed" real devices, luring users into lowering their guard. The real trap often hides in the device itself or the accompanying initialization instructions, which may be tampered devices, or induce users to leak their mnemonic phrase through social engineering.
