Jin10 Data, June 28 - According to a report by Reuters, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo signed a peace protocol facilitated by the United States in Washington. The U.S.-brokered peace protocol states that Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo agree to implement the 2024 protocol, which includes the withdrawal of Rwandan troops within 90 days. Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo will also initiate economic integration projects, and both countries have expressed their "full support" for the negotiations between the Democratic Republic of Congo and the M23 rebel group, which are being mediated by Qatar. The Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda have agreed to launch a joint security coordination mechanism within 30 days.
