The September 26th Golden Data News, Pan Shenzhen macro analyst Melanie Debono said that Swiss Central Bank policy makers will continue to cut interest rates at the next meeting. The Swiss Central Bank on Thursday lowered the Benchmark Intrerest Rate for the third consecutive time at the meeting, as the Swiss franc is under pressure and inflation is declining. The Swiss Central Bank will cut interest rates again at the quarterly meetings in December and March. Central banks of other major trading partners have begun to loosen monetary policy, and the Swiss Central Bank cannot ignore this. The Swiss Central Bank will have to cooperate with most interest rate cuts to resist the strong Swiss franc and deflationary pressures.
