Controversial social media personality Andrew Tate has often touted cryptocurrency as a means of getting wealthy.

However, on-chain data suggests that he isn't particularly good at crypto trading.

Andrew Tate 'doesn't seem to be good' at trading

On Aug. 22, the on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain wrote on X that Tate "doesn't seem to be good at perps trading."

The latest on-chain data shows that Tate has executed 86 trades on the decentralized crypto exchange Hyperliquid so far, and only 33 out of them have been profitable. It means his win ratio is 38.37%.

Andrew Tate bets on tokens linked to Trump, Kanye

Tate has a 3-times-leveraged short position open on YZY, the crypto token launched by the controversial rap artist Kanye West, and is sitting on a profit of around $4,000.

In addition, he has opened a 3-times-long position on WLFI, the token linked to the Trump family that recently was made available for trading. The trader is sitting on a loss of around $1,000.

Tate opened the long position in WLFI within hours of suffering a loss of approximately $67,500 on the token, Lookonchain highlighted.

On this Hyperliquid account, Tate has accumulated losses of $671,000 so far.
