PANews on September 19 reported, according to The Block, the mixed decentralized exchange GRVT based on the Ethereum ZKsync layer has completed a Series A funding round worth 19 million USD, led by ZKsync and Further Ventures, with EigenCloud and 500 Global participating. The new capital will help GRVT expand its product range, including a treasury across exchanges, cross-chain interoperability, and plans to utilize EigenDA's programmable privacy feature. GRVT has integrated the user experience and compliance of CEX, as well as the self-custody characteristics of DEX. The Alpha version of the mainnet will launch at the end of 2024 on ZKsync, and transaction types have expanded from perpetual cryptocurrency contracts to spot trading and options. Currently, GRVT is applying for operating licenses in multiple locations, and has received a VASP license in Lithuania since 2023. Previously, GRVT raised approximately 14.3 million dollars through multiple funding rounds, and raised 2.2 million dollars through a private token sale in March 2024. According to news on September 16, Grvt will conduct TGE in Q1 2026, with a total reward for the community accounting for 20% of the total token supply.
