The SEC of the United States announced the addition of four new members to its Investor Advisory Committee.

[The US SEC announces four new members to the Investor Advisory Committee] The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) today announced that its Investor Advisory Committee has added four new members to fill its vacant positions. The new members will serve a four-year term and will join the existing 16 committee members to form the committee. This committee was established under Section 39 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to provide advice to the SEC on regulatory priorities and initiatives aimed at protecting investors and promoting the integrity of the U.S. securities markets. The latest members of the Investor Advisory Committee include: C. Rodney Comegys, Global Head of Private Equity at Vanguard Group James R. Copland, Senior Fellow and Director of Legal Policy at the Manhattan Institute John A. Gulliver, Executive Director of the Capital Markets Regulatory Commission and International Financial Systems Project Sergio G. Rodriguera Jr., Co-founder of Straylight Systems, Inc.
