On September 18, regarding the current discussion that ETH unstaking needs to wait about 45 days, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik stated: "Staking means taking on the solemn responsibility of defending the Blockchain. The friction during withdrawal is inherently part of it. If any proportion of soldiers in an army could suddenly leave at any time, then that army couldn't be sustained. This is not to say that the current design of the staking withdrawal queue is optimal, but simply lowering the relevant parameters would make this chain appear less trustworthy in the eyes of nodes that are not frequently online."
