Memphis council members oppose Trump's plan to deploy the National Guard

Jin10 reported on September 19 that, according to U.S. media, some members of the Memphis City Council in Tennessee proposed a resolution on September 18 local time, urging Republican Governor Bill Lee to reject President Trump's plan to deploy federal law enforcement and National Guard personnel to Memphis. These council members believe that deploying soldiers will not solve Memphis's crime problem and may instead put residents and law enforcement personnel at risk.
