MetaMask announced that it will launch a rewards program at the end of October and confirmed the token issuance.

On October 9th, according to an official announcement, the crypto wallet MetaMask has launched a Perptual Futures trading feature today, which is now live. At the same time, the MetaMask rewards program will start at the end of October. MetaMask has introduced a points system and tiered rewards aimed at rewarding on-chain trading activities. Users can earn points for each token swap and Perptual Futures trade, and also earn points by referring others. In the future, users will also be able to earn points by spending with the MetaMask card and holding mUSD, expanding rewards across the entire ecosystem. The rewards program is conducted quarterly, allowing participants to earn over 30 million USD LINEA tokens, discounts on Perptual Futures trading fees, and point bonuses. The first season will provide bonuses for swaps on the Linea network, as well as for swaps and bridging operations through MetaMask Mobile. Points can accumulate to future seasons, where more exclusive benefits, deep integrations, and the upcoming MetaMask Token will be offered. Later this year, in permitted regions, MetaMask will allow users to participate in on-chain prediction markets directly on the MetaMask platform through integration with Polymarket. Users can trade markets covering various fields such as sports, crypto assets, and politics.
