Abstract generation in progress

Golden Finance reports that U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated that the Democrats are expected to reach a Consensus on restricting stock trading by members of Congress and called for new rules for federal judges. Currently, related proposals are seeking bipartisan support. Supporters claim that this marks the first practical restrictions on such behavior in over a decade. A copy of the text shows that the bipartisan bill will be announced next week. The bill stipulates that lawmakers and their families have 180 days from the effective date of the bill to sell their personal stocks, including those held in blind trusts. The proposal also notes that newly elected lawmakers have 90 days after taking their oath of office to sell their stocks.
