LINK getting short squeezed significantly more than BTC and ETH today post-CPI is evidence that, as expected, this is a hated rally and there's still lots of people fading it.

It's interesting that when something has revenue in this space, we tend to replace speculative premium with that rather than it being additive.
If you had a $1B memecoin that started doing $5M buys every month many people would be like oh, it only has $60M ARR, it's not worth $1B, rather than looking at it that it's getting additional buy pressure on top of its $1B speculative value.

Whether intentional or accidental, I think the Chainlink team may have created a nice setup when they mentioned the laughably small $1M buy.
It's an elegant way to keep people with no foresight out now so they can buy later at $100 when the buyback is $1B.

Hard to say how much it will affect their bottom line, but AMD's new "Halo Strix" processor is now the best system for anyone wanting to run a local LLM.
Can get one of these with 128GB of RAM for like $1.5k all together and it will run mid/large models like gpt-oss 120B perfectly.
For reference a single Nvidia 5090 (without the rest of the PC) is $2-3k and cannot run that full model.
A mac mini with 64GB of RAM is $2k and also can't run that full model
A mac studio with 128GB of RAM can run it but costs $3.7k

One cool thing about when Chainlink drops bullish news is that you have a while to buy it. It almost always just slowly climbs all day as more people see the news cause people hate it and don't pay attention to it any more lol.
