On September 16, Kaito founder Yu Hu tweeted that Boundless (ZKC) completed its initial public sale distribution yesterday, but the user experience did not meet expectations. The Kaito team sincerely apologized for this and pointed out that the main issues included: distribution latency, high Ethereum Gas fees during the use of the smart wallet, and wallet loading failures due to traffic overload. The distribution latency was caused by integration issues with the partner, resulting in a delay of about 1.5 hours in the distribution of tokens to users' wallets; some users experienced high Ethereum Gas fees during the initialization of the smart wallet and in use, mainly due to short-term Gas peaks in the Ethereum network and the consumption during smart wallet initialization. The surge in traffic also caused congestion on the website, affecting transactions and transfers. To compensate users, Kaito will refund Gas fees at 120% for users who have withdrawn or traded today, and users who have not yet operated will also receive additional Gas credits, which can be fully withdrawn on Base. The team recommends that users check their smart wallets and confirm refunds by 24:00 Beijing time, and provides support through the Discord community.
