Bloomberg: Athena Bitcoin accused of stealing the Source Code of AML's Bitcoin ATM

On September 25, according to Bloomberg, AML Company accused Bitcoin ATM operator Athena Bitcoin Inc. in a federal lawsuit of orchestrating a "fraud scheme" to steal the computer source code used for Bitcoin ATMs from AML Software Inc., constituting copyright infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets. According to the complaint filed in the Southern District Federal Court of Florida, Athena entered into agreements with several entities that it knew were transferring AML source code to it through a series of transactions. AML claimed that parts of this source code are trade secrets, known only to developers who have signed confidentiality agreements.
